AMREP Global Health Forum 2009

Global Health & Global Crises

The 3rd Annual AMREP Global Health Forum which took place on 7 April 2009 (World Health Day) was a success with over 250 participants attending and substantive media coverage for both TV and radio.  The theme for this year was "Global Health and Global Crises".

A photo exhibition was also held where by students could submit photos depicting images relevant to the theme of the Forum.  This exhibition was organised by IGNITE, a student body made up of mostly medical students who have a keen interest in global health.  A competition was held at the Forum to pick the winning photo out of the shortlisted 21 photos on display.  The winning photo was submitted by Daniel Mason, entitled 'Mother and Child'.
